I found this pudu picture on Bob Harris' web site, in his Thanksgiving post, with the quote "These two pudus have each other to be thankful for. Moral of the story, you can always find a pudu tie-in, if you're really determined. He credits the creator of this web site and blog for the picture.

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad! Posted by Picasa

Click for some trivia about the number XLII.

Last year we created this holiday card to be nondenominational without being a tepid, noncommittal "Happy Holidays"

You can download the graphic for the front of the card here, and the inside graphic here, and use them in Printshop or other desktop publishing software to create your own cards. Or, if you prefer, you can order pre-printed cards here.

Ever wonder what the original lyrics in German were, but didn't know German? Well, you could try using Altavista's Babelfish Translation, or now there's this:

99 Luftballons, Side by Side Comparison

I'm not sure who wrote the original English lyrics, but they certainly did a good job at capturing the original spirit of the song. I think it's neat both versions work in Captin Kirk, even if they do come in different stanzas.

The image you see above (and closeups of the 99 numbered balloons) can be found here.

“Most of these ‘athletes’ are intoxicated.”

My mom forwarded this to me, with the subject line "Sign like every store needs". Posted by Picasa
